OUR PILOT PARTNER
Nandana Tea Factory
Our current pilot runs with Nandana Tea Factory, a third-generation, family-run producer of premium low-grown Ceylon black tea in Akuressa, Sri Lanka, processing 120,000 to 150,000 kg of green leaf monthly. Founded in 1912, the factory has been guided through three generations by the Wanigasekara family, most recently under Mr. Gunasoma Wanigasekara, the current Managing Director.
Mr. Wanigasekara has continued his family's legacy of innovation in tea production, making Nandana an ideal partner to test how better market data and AI-driven picking guidance can directly boost smallholder incomes.
